Michael Moore did a podcast with Tim Morello and said this to his mailing list (that I urge you to get on as Michael is amping for more action): “We also talked about [Morello’s] epic performance with Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band of ‘The Ghost of Tom Joad’ in Anaheim, CA in 2008.” The comments all support and inform about how astonishing it was, like this one: ”This performance is legendary.” And don’t miss Morello’s guitar at the end: “Morello’s solo is stunning, amazing, non human. I’m as awestruck as I was the first time each time I watch it. He reaches beyond any guitarist I’ve ever seen. It’s other worldly.”
