What could possibly, in one fell swoop, create a massive transformation? Everyone would agree that aliens – or crop circles — on the Whitehouse lawn would do it. When the evidence from science labs indicated we could not be making these beautiful imprints in crop fields, I got interested enough to make a documentary that got a good review in The New York Times.
