This just in! I got my letter published that was in response to an editorial on sentencing Derek Chauvin to prison. You can see my letter here, sandwiched between two other letters that responded to the editorial very differently. It’s a mini version of the big contradiction between getting an eye for an eye and having a compassionate perspective. In fact, that link has a headline worth noting: “Times editorial on sentencing Derek Chauvin was so wrong.” That’s not what my letter said!
