Human beings will never run out of original ways to express artistry and here’s a doozy. Like the ancient tradition of sand painting where all that meticulous work to make complex patterns gets washed away after it is completed, here we have stone paintings. I once read that when temples in Bali get destroyed in natural disasters that aren’t unusual but are rather predictable, no big deal – they just make new ones, where the slogan attributed to their artistry is, “We have no art.
