The theremin is an early electronic musical instrument that is controlled, without physical contact by the player, by two metal antennas which sense the relative position of the thereminist’s hands that control oscillators for frequency with one of them and volume with the other. The electric signals from the theremin are sent to a loudspeaker. “Probably the best theremin performance ever recorded. Katica Illényi is incredibly awesome.” “Wow!!… to hit exactly the notes and under a controlled expression? a theremin is like a wild horse and she made the wild horse dance!! wow again!! never seen such a clean and accurate performance with such an unruly instrument!”
